support. Tuition also covers various Duke student fees. Tuition does
not include travel to and from campus, lodging, or meals during the
place-based sessions.
For more information on student accounts, please visit the Bursar’s
Office website at www.bursar.duke.edu.
*Tuition listed above is based on the 09-10 academic year. Tuition
is expected to increase slightly in 10-11. As soon as fees are determined,
updated figures will be posted.
Financial Aid
A limited number of DEL Merit-based Assistance awards are available to qualifying applicants. See below for more information. Financial aid is available through
various student loan programs to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
Students requesting financial assistance must complete the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For more information, visit www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Private loans are also offered through various vendors. Citibank, Bank of America and Sallie Mae are national lenders that offer online applications and fairly fast approval information. It is the responsibility of the student to select a lender. Criteria to consider are: What are the fees associated with the loan? How is the interest rate calculated? What is the amount you are eligible to borrow?
For more information, contact the Enrollment Services Office at (919) 613-8070 or e-mail admissions@nicholas.duke.edu.
