Lectureship in Applied Geosciences
The Perkins Lectureship in Applied Geosciences was
established by colleagues, students and friends of
Ronald S. Perkins in honor of his 32 years of distinguished
service to Duke University. The Lectureship will bring
prominent scientists and industry leaders to campus,
continuing the strong ties between academia, business
and industry that Ron fostered as Chairman of the
Department of Geology.
