Dr. Tim Moore, Professor of Geography at Mc Gill University is the Fall 2010 Visiting Scholar at the Duke University Wetland Center.
Moore's interests lie in the relationships between soil and the environment, particularly the regulation of fluxes of gases, nutrients and elements between the soil and the atmosphere, the biosphere and the hydrosphere and the effect of human activities and climate change. He is a member of the Global Environmental and Climate Change Centre and on the journal editorial advisory board of Global Change Biology. During his stay at Duke, Moore gave the lecture "Carbon Cycling and Global Change in Northern Peatlands" in the Center on Global Change Seminar Series.
