Dr. Steven Hopp, co-author of Animal, Vegetable, Miracle with his wife Barbara Kingsolver and Camille Kingsolver T’09, teaches courses on wildlife and sustainable agriculture at Emory & Henry College. He serves on the board of Appalachian Sustainable Development and is the founder and director of the Meadowview Farmers Guild.

Laura Hall, owner, entrepreneur and creator of The Refectory, Duke's first Green Cafe dedicated to Environmental, Social & economic sustainability. She dedicates her time to promoting local, fresh & nutritious dining at Duke.
