Dr. Lisa Brady, professor of history at Boise State University will deliver the 2017 Lynn W. Day Distinguished Lectureship in Forest and Conservation History.

Her talk titled “No-Man’s-Land as Nature Preserve: The Strange Case of Cold War Conservation” will discuss a little-understood way the Cold War contributed to nature conservation around the world.

The lecture is sponsored by the Forest History Society, Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University’s Department of History.
