With 20 years working on environmental issues involving sustainability, Nicholas School alumna Erica Blyther will be speaking about three projects -- two at the City of Los Angeles and one at Los Angeles International Airport -- where diversity and inclusion played important roles.

She'll be detailing how her team worked on initiatives with land use, renewable energy and more while balancing the needs of the city and its community.

A light reception with food and beverages will be available starting at 4:30 p.m. The presentation will start at 5 p.m.

This event is sponsored by the Nicholas School Actionators and Diverse & Inclusive Community for the Environment (DICE).

Erica’s visit to the Nicholas School coincides with the publication of the latest issue of Dukenvironment magazine, which features a profile about Blyther and her work.
