The Climate Speakers Network, a program of The Climate Reality Project, is excited to join the Alabama Center for Rural Enterprise, the Duke Human Rights Center@FHI and a number of state and local partners to conduct an immersive climate justice training at Duke University. The event will consist of conversations about the complex relationship between the environmental and justice movements, education on the local impacts of climate change, a climate communications training, and interactive workshops and skills-based training sessions on the steps we can take to address the climate crisis. A tentative agenda is available here.

This event is open to all interested students (undergrad and graduate), but there is limited space, so registration is required. Students who participate in any of the sessions are welcome to attend a networking reception with local organizations at 4:45 PM.

Register now.

Sponsored by Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute.
