Duke Forest Annual Gathering

November 9, 2017 - 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
New Hope Improvement Association Center, 4012 Whitfield Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514

You are cordially invited to hear highlights about recent research, teaching, and forest management activities in the Duke Forest.

This year’s theme will be Wildlife: Home on the Forest, and our special guest speaker will be Dr. Ron Sutherland, conservation scientist with the Wildlands Network.  Ron leads the development of habitat connectivity models for the southeastern U.S. and tackles a myriad of other efforts to protect and promote wildlife.  Winners of our annual Duke Forest Photography Contest will be on display, and as always, great food and wine will be enjoyed by all!

The Annual Gathering is an important opportunity to share with and hear from the diverse community of folks that care about the forest so we hope to see you on November 9th!  This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required and limited to 90.
