erica blyther nicholas school alumna alumni story

She's a vital, proven asset leading environmental change at one of the world's largest airports -- and she's also a Nicholas School alum. The Career & Professional Development Center is proud to welcome undergrad alumna Erica Blyther T'98 back to the Nicholas School for this Career Conversation.

Erica, an environmental science and policy major, has worked as an Environmental Supervisor at the Los Angeles International Airport for nearly 10 years. Her vast portfolio showcases her accomplishments on a variety of issues including green building, alternative energy use, environmentally preferred purchasing and water use -- a critical topic in drought-prone southern California.

At this edition of “Career Conversation,” Erica will share and take questions on how she charted her academic and professional course to achieve a highly successful career in the field of sustainability.

Erica’s visit to the Nicholas School coincides with the publication of the latest issue of Dukenvironment magazine, which features a profile about Blyther and her work.
