Duke Coronavirus Response icon

Due to risks and multiple uncertainties associated with the trajectory of the novel coronavirus, Duke University students and faculty will no longer be undertaking a March 2020 field trip to explore the Bay Area’s clean energy landscape.

Duke alumni, we hope you will connect with us in other ways: let us know if you need a summer 2020 intern, join the private LinkedIn group for Blue Devils in energy/sustainability, and sign up for the Duke University Energy Initiative’s email list.

Duke alumni, join us for drinks, appetizers, and networking at Soma Eats (Spear Street). The occasion? A couple dozen students from Duke's master's program in environmental management will be in the Bay Area to visit energy companies and learn about California’s energy landscape—and they'd love to meet YOU.

The students will be accompanied by Nicholas School of the Environment faculty Dr. Tim Johnson and Dr. Brian Murray (director of the Duke University Energy Initiative), as well as Stacy Peterson (assistant director for student and alumni engagement at the Energy Initiative).

Alumni from ALL Duke schools and degree programs are welcome to attend this free event, so spread the word among other Blue Devils you know. Registration required as space is limited!

This event is co-sponsored by the Duke University Energy Initiative and the Nicholas School of Environment.

Questions? Please email Stacy Peterson: stacy.peterson@duke.edu.
