Professional Experience

Thesis Research Program, Massachusetts  Institute  of  Technology, Boston, MA
Simulation of Vortex Induced Vibration of Riser in the shear flow. Designed experiment visual models with AutoCAD and Solidworks. Deduced mathematic regression equations with Matlab and Excel. Analyzed the experiment data and developed image manipulation. Feb. 2017 – May. 2017

Environment Policy Evaluation, Tianjin University
Evaluation of regulation on compensation and resettlement of migrants for water conservation and hydropower project constructions. Analyzed and discussed the differences between domestic policies and foreign policies. Summarized the disadvantages and application conditions of each policy. Assessed the present regulation with the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Experts Grading Method. Developed the multiple objective programming model and designed and collected migrants' resettlement sanctification questionnaire. Provided suggestions for improving the long-term compensation mechanism for migrants through a data analysis of questionnaires. Feb. 2017 – May. 2017

MIT-TJU Internship Program, Massachusetts  Institute  of  Technology, Boston, MA
Vortex Induced Vibration of Flexible Riser with Buoyance Module Developed several flexible risers with different buoyance modules and analyzed vortex induced vibration of the risers with different flow direction. Record vibrations of the risers and then used optical tracking measurement to analyze their motion trails with underwater cameras. Published an article "Optical Tracking Measurement on Vortex Induced Vibration of Flexible Riser with Short-Length Buoyance Module" on the bulletin of the American Physical Society, 61. Jun. 2016 – Sept. 2016

National Undergraduates Innovation Program, Tianjin University, China
Stability Analysis and Control Methods for Underwater Tunnel-extra Large Excavations Interactive System Derived and modeled underwater extra-large tunnel interactive system during multi-phase construction process using Flac, 3D and Plaxis. Implemented in-situ data into our model and used simulation result to provide guidance on construction process. May. 2016 – Dec.2016

National Energy Saving &  Emission Reduction Contest, Tianjin University, China
Residential Drainage Pipe Modification and Water Resource Gradation Utilization Collected, filtered and analyzed the residential water resource usage data in Tianjin and constructed models of commercial drainage pipe with AutoCAD. Redesigned drainage pipe models following the theory of water resource multi-gradation utilization mode and analyzed its environmental economy. May. 2016
