Much of what we teach is coordinated through the Geospatial Analysis Program in the Nicholas School. This includes a full curriculum in geographic information systems and remote sensing, with all courses emphasizing environmental applications. The School offers a Certificate in Geospatial Analysis for students fully participating in the program.

Duke's courses are provided via an Intranet (Blackboard) and so are not publicly available. If you are not at Duke and are interested in the details of a particular class, contact the instructor directly.

Landscape ecology (ENV214) provides the conceptual foundation for many subsequent courses and is a logical entry point to our curriculum in this area. A topical outline is available here. If you are interested in teaching or taking (independently) a similar course, contact the instructor for more detailed course materials.
