Summer Term 1
May 14 - June 15, 2018
The Marine Laboratory, set within the natural beauty of the Outer Banks of coastal North Carolina, offers a picturesque residential campus, where learning in small, intimate groups takes place and students have direct access to the area's natural resources while using the latest scientific innovations. Many of the marine science summer courses include getting out in the water and around our local barrier islands.
Don't have a car? Not to worry, the Marine Lab recently acquired an Enterprise Car Share that undergraduates can use while studying in Beaufort.
The summer courses below are open to college undergraduates, graduate students, and post-baccalaureates. These courses are not open to high school students.
-During Summer Term I students may enroll in only one course if the course is Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Marine Invertebrate Zoology, or General Physics. Students may take Research Independent Study with Marine Invertebrate Zoology, or Ocean Media or Stats 101A.
- Students interested in identifying research independent study project should contact firstname.lastname@example.org
