Summer Term 1
May 13 - June 14, 2019
The Marine Laboratory, set within the natural beauty of the Outer Banks of coastal North Carolina, offers a picturesque residential campus, where learning in small, intimate groups takes place and students have direct access to the area's natural resources while using the latest scientific innovations. Many of the marine science summer courses include getting out in the water and around our local barrier islands.
The summer courses below are open to college undergraduates, graduate students, and post-baccalaureates. These courses are not open to high school students.
-During Summer Term I students may enroll in only one course if the course is Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Introductory Marine Biology or General Physics. Students may take two courses if they are Comparative Physiology of Marine Animals, Research Independent Study, or Stats.
