This year’s orientation at the Nicholas School of the Environment featured a variety of events to help welcome 156 new MEM/MF students and 29 new PhD students; as well as 29 new and returning DEL-MEM adult learners.

The full week of activities started with an introduction from new Stanback Dean Toddi Steelman, a fun group photo at the Levine Science Research Center and several opportunities to meet and interact with Nicholas School students, alum, staff and faculty.

Students also took part in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, followed by a delicious Global Connections Community dinner.
