Duke Environmental Leadership Master of Environmental Management (DEL-MEM) graduates enter the program as working environmental professionals, coming from a diverse array of employment sectors and leadership positions. Many of our graduates continue their careers with their employer, but often with increased responsibility and leadership roles, often accompanied by a promotion. DEL-MEM graduates also often find new career opportunities through their growing network and new skill sets.
DEL-MEM alumni hold positions in green technology startups, private-sector companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and consulting firms providing leadership and strategic thinking in the areas of energy, sustainability, program management, conservation, communications, environmental health and safety, and policy analysis, among other areas.
The Nicholas School’s dedicated Career & Professional Development Center has three full-time staff members to help our DEL-MEM graduates advance their career goals and successfully compete for new opportunities.
