Rebecca Fisher specializes in environmental economics, negotiations, and stakeholder outreach. After graduating from the Nicholas School, she worked in the private sector as a consultant focusing on economic analysis and valuation of environmental goods and services. She then went to work for the Obama Administration's Treasury Department, where she oversaw funding for sustainable development projects in developing countries, and participated in several United Nations conferences as a finance negotiator. In this role, she participated in the UNFCCC negotiations in Paris, Marrakesh, and Bonn.

Following the shift in policy in 2017, Rebecca moved to the Bay Area to work for the Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD). At BAAQMD, she oversees all outreach activities related to electric vehicle incentives, and assists in administering a loan program for public and private facilities to adopt emerging technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Rebecca was lucky enough to meet a fantastic partner at the Nicholas School, who loves international travel and hiking in California's beautiful State and National Parks just as much as she does.
