Romi is currently on an extended parenting sabbatical, raising three girls in New York City. After graduating from the Nicholas School, she worked for the Council for Economic Priorities, a nonprofit organization in New York, evaluating environmental performances of S&P 500 companies, focusing specifically on the petroleum and chemical industries. Prior to her time at the Nicholas school, she worked at Battelle, Pacific Northwest Laboratories in Portland, OR, focusing on the energy sector. In addition to her Duke MEM degree, Romi holds a BA in Environmental Analysis and Policy from Boston University.
