Mike is an energy professional with extensive experience in global product / solution management, and expertise in financial analysis, electric power markets, and business / product development.

After graduating from the Nicholas School of the Environment and the Fuqua School of Business in 2012 with degrees in Environmental Management and Business Administration, Mike accepted a position in the Siemens Graduate Program (Mid-Career track)- Siemens' premier international rotation program. During his tenure in the program, he led cross-functional teams to develop cloud offerings for Demand Response and Smart Metering solutions, and led teams to submit multi-million dollar proposals to utility customers, which resulted in winning millions of dollars in bookings for the company. His rotations in Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC, and Nuremberg, Germany spanned a breadth of business functions - from strategic planning, to product development, to business development - and offered a true understanding of how to be successful at a Fortune 100 company.

Prior to attending Duke University, Mike spent 5 years in Colorado and California as a Ski School Director, and also managed to travel the world in a meandering manner for 18 months. In his free time, he enjoys sports, reading (dorky) books, and anything outdoors.
