Kristine Young is currently leading the sustainability program at Darden Restaurants, where she is collaborating with over 1,500 restaurants and food suppliers to tackle today’s challenges around sustainable food systems.

She brings over seven years of experience working in corporate sustainability, including with The Coca-Cola Company and Ocean Spray Cranberries, and also holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University.

Kristine’s strengths include leading cross-functional teams to build robust programs in water stewardship, sustainable agriculture and sustainable supply chains, linking sound science to long-term financial security. She sees the best solutions support healthy communities and vital ecosystems.  Kristine also has a Bachelor’s in Fine Art, photography and enjoys sailing whenever she’s close to the ocean.
