Letter from the Alumni Council President
As Duke Environment alumni, we are a diverse lot. We represent many backgrounds, degrees, career paths, places, ages and experiences. What we all have in common is our deep commitment to environmental stewardship and the extraordinary environmental education that set us on a path to professional and personal success.
The new Go·Grow·Give program offers a wealth of opportunities – from prospective student recruiting to social events to networking – for Duke Environment alumni to connect with each other and with today’s students, faculty and staff. The Nicholas School Alumni Council serves as a strong voice for our alumni community and helps our fellow graduates stay engaged with the school and university in valuable and meaningful ways. Alumni profiles provide a close-up look at many of our amazing alumni and what they've accomplished since graduation, and the Duke Alumni Directory allows you to find and connect with Nicholas alums and students.
While we were students at Duke for just a few years, we will be a part of this amazing alumni community forever. I encourage you to get involved, take advantage of these resources, and let me or another Alumni Council member know your ideas for how we can serve you better. And don’t be surprised if you get a call from one of us to touch base and see how we can help you get involved with some of the exciting things happening at the Nicholas School today!
President, Alumni Council, MEM’04
You’ll find Nicholas School alums pursuing their passion and making positive impacts worldwide. Our programs give them the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become leaders and innovators in a wide array of fields and sectors.
