Professional Experience

Aggregation Operations Technical Specialist / Indeed.com / Austin, TX
Developed a toolkit to automate tedious and time-consuming tasks. Adapted these tools into a full-fledged internal product called Watson that allowed one member of the Aggregation team to manage the growing workload that previously required more than two full-time employees. Identified inefficient tasks, prioritized high impact projects for limited developer time, and worked with developers and product management to carefully improve internal tools. Conducted dozens of training events covering the basics of aggregation up to advanced web-crawling techniques. Created long-term training plans, feedback metrics, and training reference materials for fifteen new hires. Rapidly prototyped and presented innovative products in 6 Indeed Hackathons and the “Kill Indeed” internal incubator competition. Awarded “Top Performer” review once, and consistently awarded “Exceeds Expectations.” Addressed the most complex technical aggregation challenges and triaged work to vendors, feed maintainers, the international team, and client services. 2012-2016
