Product Sustainability Manager, REI
Greg Gausewitz was born in Newport Beach, CA and spent a good portion of his childhood enjoying the outdoors in beautiful southern California. From an early age, he developed a passion for promoting the health of the environment, and he's chosen to make this passion the focus of his career.
Greg earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Business Economics, with a minor in Environmental Systems and Society. After college, he spent several years working at tech companies in Silicon Valley before transitioning to the retail sector in a role at Target Corporation. He spent several years on Target's supply chain sustainability team where he was responsible for helping ensure Target's owned brand product was produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Greg currently lives in Seattle, WA and works at REI as Product Sustainability Manager, where he is responsible for driving sustainability at the product level across all products sold at REI.
Greg is also an outdoor enthusiast who loves camping and hiking, as well as an avid guitarist and music lover.
