Senior Research Associate, Hanover Research, Arlington, VA
Analyzed market opportunities to develop strategy recommendations for corporate clients. Interfaced directly with clients to identify business intelligence needs and develop custom research projects. Served nine U.S. and international B2B clients in industries including transportation, energy, chemical manufacturing, and financial services. Research areas included supply chain management, product development, and sales. Mobilized the primary research team to develop new process recommendations to drive efficiency, all of which were formally adopted in division-wide research procedures. 2014 – 2015

Research Fellow, Oceanic Society, Guna Yala, Panama
Managed sustainable development projects from design to implementation to promote behavior change and environmental impact. Projects included an ecotourism venture, an aquaculture program, and an environmental education initiative. Gained the buy-in and participation of more than 60 diverse stakeholders and developed partnerships with five national and international nonprofits and governement agencies. Used market-based solutions to enhance impact. The ecotourism enterprise, for example, generated $5,000 in revenue for the local indigenous community in its first 6 weeks of operation. Through surveys and interviews, analyzed stakeholders’ needs as they related to sustainability initiatives and delivered recommendations to national partners. 2013 – 2014
