In his role as Program and Communications Manager at EGA, Adam oversees organizational communications strategy, manages priority projects and supports funder- to-funder collaboration. Prior to coming to EGA, Adam served as a Communications and Advocacy Associate with Global Health Strategies, where he supported new media strategies on behalf of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Adam earned his BA at New York University in Environmental and Urban Studies. His most significant academic pursuits included a grant proposal about the reopening of Manhattan's 91st Street waste transfer station and a Senior thesis exploring economical methods to reduce the environmental effects of idling aircraft.

Professional Experience

Program and Communications Manager
In tandem with funder program committees, coordinate strategic and planning processes for other various regional or issue-based convenings. Serve as liaison to network of grantmakers funding fresh water and inland ecosystems, facilitating collaboration through briefings, reports and resource need assessment. Manage priority projects for the organization, including catalyzing action, global engagement and fellowship initiatives. Design and oversee organizational communications strategy, including promotion and outreach for EGA and EGA-sponsored programming.
