Conducted a life cycle assessment for one of REI’s products, and identified environmental ‘hot spots; shared results with client. Modeled environmental impacts of product using OpenLCA software and Excel, and created a bill of materials for supply chain analysis. Researched and developed a detailed analytical report for USDA and US DOE of national and state level bioindicators within the Bioenergy and BioProducts US industry sectors. November 2016 – May 2017
Updated key information in 3E databases, downloaded and analyzed data for completeness, accuracy, and identified data trends. Classified chemical inventories and consumer products in accordance with federal and state regulatory guidelines under 49 CFR, IMDG, TDG, IATA and federal/state RCRA by using Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Created supply chain transparency for clients by managing, collecting, and indexing materials and products to regulations foreign and domestic: REACH, Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform Act- Section 1502 (Conflict Minerals), California Proposition 65. Triaged, processed, and tested ~250 patient samples a day for drug and alcohol content. Drafted, edited, and reviewed drug and alcohol test reports. Summer 2015
Managed a $60K creek restoration project that cleared a creek of litter, transients, and non-native vegetation. Supervised Alpha Project crewmembers clearing vegetation; assisted crew in categorizing native and non-native plant species. Wrote status reports to the Office of Grants and Local Services of the State of California to inform the project’s budget expenditures and progress. Reviewed waste management plans, negative declarations, and environmental impact reports. Researched for a proposed beverage containers bill and a pharmaceutical product stewardship bill. Surveyed a three-story building due for renovation, and estimated the amount of salvageable and non-salvageable items in tons. August 2013- June 2014
