As a member of the Government Sustainable Energy Committee, designed and piloted an energy benchmarking program to compare each of the 24 buildings in the Government’s portfolio. Authored the energy efficiency chapter of the Residential Building Code 2014, the first of its kind in Bermuda’s history. Homes built under this code will use up to 32% less energy than existing homes. Consulted on solar development application processes, leading to expedited permitting for installations up to 1,000 sqft, achieving a 100% approval rate for assigned solar applications. Executed an extensive public consultation process, helped form the Aquaculture Permitting Committee, and created a financial model for a Government-run hatchery that will promote the start of a tilapia industry ($750K). 2013-2014
