He was then hired by a private analytical lab to perform various water and soil chemical, organic extractions. As his experienced grew, he was promoted to perform analytics on various diesel ranged organics and other chemical constituents analyzed on five flame ionized detector (FID) gas chromatography instruments. After his experience with analytical chemistry, he went on to work for a public utility to provide analytics for coal fired steam generation as well as maintaining environmental compliance with air, water, and waste regulations. Adam was promoted to manage performance and process engineering to provide data, input, recommendations, and troubleshooting to increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and to promote procedures for training and education.
