Instructor, Sandhills Classical Christian School
Cheryl Ross grew up on a lake in Michigan, where she was surrounded by nature. With a father that was an amateur scuba diving instructor, she became scuba certified at a young age and developed a passion for the underwater world. She pursued a BS in Oceanography at Florida Institute of Technology, and then later, a MS in Oceanography at Texas A&M University.
Cheryl is currently working as a middle school Science Instructor at a private school. She has been active in her community serving on the Lakes and Watershed Board for her town. She has previously worked as a Regional Water Planner, a Oceanographic Researcher, and a shipboard Marine Geophysicist. As a military wife, she is accustomed to travel and change and has had a wide range of experiences.
