Brian Wasserstein was born in the Bay Area of California and grew up near Albany, New York. Brian always had a fascination with the natural world and loved drawing animals, especially sharks. As the end of high school approached, Brian saw a fork in the road of his education. Although he had a passion for artwork, Brian chose to pursue a career in science and graduated from Saint Lawrence University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and a focus in ecology. Brian currently works for ECS Capitol Services in Washington, DC as an environmental project manager. His duties include managing the environmental services required for major construction projects and renovation projects in the District of Columbia. These services include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, hazardous materials surveys, asbestos abatement project design and management, and remediation management. Brian currently lives in Arlington, Virginia, a stone's throw from the Pentagon.
