Measured different biomarkers such as MDA, 8-OHdG, Cotinine, and proteins in urine or blood samples using HPLC and LC-MS/MS, which will be further used in determination of the levels and effects of exposure. August 2017-Present
Air Quality Health Researcher, Clean Air Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC
Collected data such as morbidity and mortality cases and medical costs for air quality-related health issues, and annual emissions of hazardous air pollutants from permitted facilities for 9 selected NC counties. Combined data with EJSCREEN to analyze and visualize the disadvantaged communities in each county. Created a template for air quality health report and generated reports for the 9 counties, which will be used in program design for community-based air monitors networks, residents training, and legislative visit. Environmental Engineering Intern, Department of Planning (Environmental Engineering) Research Office, Scientific Institute of Pearl River Water Resources Protection, Guangzhou, China                                   
Organized and inputted historical water quality data for more than 50 river sections in Pearl River Basin. Prepared infographic and slides using Photoshop and PowerPoint for reports in the institute. Helped editing environmental impact assessment reports by modifying the errors in the reports.
