You will take the statistics and calculus diagnostic exams either in the summer prior to matriculating or during orientation. Exams will be graded as quickly as possible and the results will be emailed to faculty instructors and advisors, so that you can use them for course placement decisions before you complete your registration. Guidance for what to do based on your scores is available on the Statistics/Calculus Diagnostics pages. Some courses may use statistics and/or calculus diagnostic scores to make decisions about granting permission to enroll. Remember that if you are not qualified to take the course(s) in year one, you will most likely have another chance in year two. In the meantime, take whatever coursework you need to enhance your preparation.
