DUWC's Richardson Gives WETPOL 2015 Keynote Address

DUWC Director Curtis Richardson will be a Keynote Speaker at WETPOL 2015, the Sixth International Symposium on Wetland Pollutant Dynamics and Control, this year held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Constructed Wetland Association. Cranfield University in York, UK is hosting the conference September 13-18, 2015.

WETPOL and CWA are meeting jointly to provide a platform for natural and constructed wetland researchers and practitioners to exchange knowledge and advance the overall understanding of these complex ecosystems.

The conference addresses the latest advances in the field of wetland nutrient and pollution transformations, ecosystem valuation and pollution control in natural and constructed wetlands.

Richardsonís Keynote Address, Novel stream and wetland restoration approaches to enhance ecological services in riparian wetlands in urban watersheds, is based in part on research from the Wetland Center's Stream and Wetland Assessment Management Park.

More information about WETPOL, CWA, and the conference program and participants can be found at the WETPOL 2015 website.
