We have made a new record this week with the Jason II ROV! 100 hours on the seafloor without coming up for a break. The previous record was about 77 hours for the same vehicle.

Today, however, we are pulling the ROV out of the water so we can move to another site not far from this one. That means some of us (the crew) continue to work hard (as usual), and some of us actually have a bit of “down” time. Since the weather has been rainy, it seemed like the perfect day to watch a movie in the lounge.
