Dives continue, with Jeff Karson and Meagen Pollock as science observers and Pat Hickey as pilot. During the dive, Jeff Karson was interviewed by NPR’s Steve Curwood for “Living on Earth” through a phone-patch to the Alvin command post on the ship. Dredging continued at night, with a monster rock recovery (see photos).
