Duke University Stanback Internship Program is generously funded by Duke alumni Fred and Alice Stanback. The Stanback Internship Program provides Duke students with significant project-based learning experiences in energy, conservation, advocacy, policy, research, and applied resource management.
The Stanback Internship Program is open to any Duke student - undergraduate, graduate, and international students - who will be enrolled in Fall 2019 classes. Internships are located throughout the U.S., and interns receive up to $6,000* in funding to support their experience.

Timeline for the Summer 2019 Internship Cycle
Monday, January 7: Applications open (Round 1)
Tuesday, January 29: Application deadline
•Resume and cover letter required for each position
Thursday, February 7: Interview decisions are announced via CareerLink
February 18-22: Phone interviews (optional, determined by organization partner)
Friday, February 22: On-Campus Interview Day
Tuesday, February 26: Organization partners make offers
March 1-7: Students accept/decline offers
Monday, March 11: Organization partners re-advertise unfilled positions
March 11-May 28: Open positions re-advertised (Round 2)
Tuesday, May 28: Recruiting season ends
