DURHAM, NC – The debut issue of eno, the new Nicholas School of the Environment literary magazine, is now available in both print and digital forms.

You can view and download the magazine at website. Print copies are available at no cost for a limited time at locations around the Nicholas School.

The magazine showcases the artistic talents of the Nicholas School community by publishing environmentally themed creative works by faculty, students and staff.

The Spring 2012 issue includes poetry, essays, fiction, photography, drawings, and watercolors.

The magazine was created, edited, and designed by Nicholas School students. It is funded by the school as part of the Duke Arts and the Environment Initiative, which Dean William Chameides launched in 2009 to forge stronger connections between the arts, environmental sciences and policy.

The mission of eno is to inspire a respect for the environment by engaging in thoughtful expression through the use of artistic, reflective, and creative forms.

The magazine is now accepting submissions for its Fall 2012 issue. Submission guidelines are available at the eno website.
