Taylor Price is the Global Manager of EHS & Sustainability for AptarGroup, Inc., a leader in the global market for dispensing systems for the packaging industry. With business food, beverage, beauty, personal care, and pharmaceuticals, Taylor drives sustainability efforts in all segments of the business and communicates results with both internal and external stakeholders. She also works to advocate for a circular economy to address social and environmental imperatives that create purpose and shared societal value. Taylor completes responses to CDP, EcoVadis, and other global sustainability reporting initiatives and plays a major role in the completion of an annual, GRI-Core Principles based, corporate sustainability report. She believes that 100% of plastic packaging should be recycled.
Taylor has a Masters of Environmental Management from the Nicholas School where she graduated with a concentration in Environmental Economics and Policy (Business & Environment Track), and a certificate in Environmental Innovation & Entrepreneurship. At the Nicholas School, she was a member of the inaugural cohort of Nicholas Scholars Program and a Nemergut Scholar.
Taylor was named an Emerging Leader by GreenBiz in 2017 and Energy Scholar by Net Impact, OneEnergy Renewables and 3Degrees in 2018. As an alumni, Taylor serves on the EEP Advisory Council at the Nicholas School.
Taylor also has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies (BA) with a concentration in Environmental Behavior and Decision Making from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previously, she worked as a College Adviser via The Carolina College Advising Corps, an AmeriCorps-affiliated program. The College Advising Corps assists low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students find their way to colleges that will serve them well.
