Jason Symonds has over seven years of experience using economic analysis for cost-benefit testing and market assessments for energy efficiency technology.

This includes using market-diffusion algorithms to forecast energy and demand savings by end-use, building sector and fuel type for utility service territories.

He is currently a Senior Consultant in DNV GL’s Policy Advisory and Research practice, with experience helping utilities and public utility commissions perform impact and process evaluations on both residential and non-residential energy efficiency programs. This experience has been used to identify opportunities to improve processes and programs, and to communicate these findings to internal and external stakeholders at utility commission hearings and public meetings.
