Green Devils Sustainability Graduate Project Manager, Sustainable Duke Durham, NC
Work closely with Duke’s Sustainability Director, undergraduates, and on-campus groups to create multifaceted sustainability initiatives on Duke’s campus. Lead projects bringing compost to student housing and Duke’s first ever carbon neutral sports game. Achieved Duke’s first ever “zero waste” football game and implementing campus sustainability projects designing a creative outreach campaign as part of the Recycling and Waste Reduction team. Awarded “Outstanding Leadership in Waste Reduction” at Duke’s 2017 Sustainability Awards. Project Lead, UCapture, Durham, NC
Led initiative to introduce UCapture on Duke’s campus. Present to student groups about the organization and work to strengthen partnership between UCapture and the university to generate carbon offsets and reach carbon neutrality. UCapture generates carbon offsets through commissions from online shopping partners. Fall 2017
Southeast Clean Energy Analyst, Environmental Defense Fund, Raleigh, NC
Analyzed electric utilities and electric cooperatives at a local, state, and regional level to identify energy trends and prepare materials for future use. Created an analysis database that was adopted by EDF for energy use at the national level. Summer 2016
