Tommy Caggiano is the Climate and Energy Policy Manager for the North Carolina Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. In this role, he leads TNC’s climate policy portfolio through legislative and agency relations with special emphasis on advancing implementation of nature-based solutions and renewable energy policy. He also leads coordination of resilience program development across the Chapter. Prior to joining TNC in 2021, Tommy worked for three Federal Agencies, a state government, and multiple nonprofit organizations. He holds Master of Environmental Management and Master of Forestry degrees from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, and a BS in biology from Ursinus College. Tommy lives in Durham, NC.
